Empowering People’s Independence (EPI) is committed to conducting its operations in a lawful and ethical manner in accordance with federal and state laws. EPI has established policies and procedures to ensure the highest quality services and fullest adherence to billing and claims submission requirements to prevent waste, fraud, and abuse.

We strive to promote a culture of open communication and encourage staff to report possible compliance concerns without fear of retaliation.

Concerns or reports of fraud, waste or abuse may be made confidentially by calling EPI Compliance Hotline at 585-442-6420 x2400.

Reports may also be made to the Office of Inspector General at www.OMIG.ny.gov

Reports of abuse and neglect of people with special needs may be made to Report Abuse & Neglect 24/7 Statewide Hotline 1-855-373-2122 Dial 7-1-1 for NYS Relay.
