Eligible part-time and full-time employees begin accruing paid time off (PTO) from the date of hire. Rates of accrual increase with years of employment, up to more than six weeks per year.  EPI employees are also able to carry over unused PTO to the following year, up to the maximum annual accrual.

Once an eligible employee reaches their maximum PTO accrual, additional PTO accruals will be automatically rolled into the employee’s Health Reserve Bank.
