Alicia Dolan was born in Rochester, NY and raised in Livingston County. Inspired at a young age by her aunt’s elaborate birthday cakes, Alicia’s passion for baking began at home. She further developed her skills through the Culinary Arts program at BOCES in Mt. Morris, where she discovered a true love for baking under the mentorship of Stephen Kingston ( who now teaches at AutismUp).

Alicia continued her education in the Baking and Production Management program at Alfred State College, where she found her groove and participated in the national SkillsUSA program. She later completed two additional years in Technology Management, gaining valuable creative and business experience.

Currently, Alicia works for Henrietta Restaurant Supply, a local business where she orders baking supplies and helps support and foster the baking community throughout Rochester. She is deeply passionate about building connections, uplifting small businesses, and finding joy in life’s little details. This year, Alicia and her best friend Andrea combined their like-minded creativity to expand Andrea’s small business into something rooted in self-care, thoughtful surprises, and simple joys—because life is too short not to enjoy small treasures, especially chocolate.

Andrea Hallenbeck was born and raised in Rochester, NY, and began cooking and baking as soon as she was old enough to get her hands into the dough. She pursued her passion early, starting her formal culinary education in high school through the local BOCES baking program before continuing her studies at Alfred State.

While at Alfred State, Andrea competed in the national SkillsUSA competitions two years in a row and went on to earn an AOS in Baking and Production Management, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She has worked at Donna Marie’s Gluten Free Bakery for over six years, where she currently serves as Production Manager.

Andrea is deeply passionate about both cooking and baking and enjoys bringing bold flavor to health-conscious cooking at home.
