Katy's Kravings

Katy is a local musician and public speaker whose love of being in the kitchen started at a very young age. Originally from Canandaigua, NY, Katy grew up in her mother’s bakery and restaurant, Rose Corner, learning how to both cook and bake. Her love of baking really blossomed while working side by side with her mother who has always remained her biggest inspiration, even after her sudden passing nearly 19 years ago now.

In the fall of 2020, Katy decided to make her own cheesecake wedding cake covered in beautiful fresh flowers and posted a picture of it on social media. This picture created a flurry of inquiries which resulted in Katy starting her own business, Katy’s Kravings where she combines her recipes with her mother’s old recipes, with cheesecake and her mother’s famous cutout cookies being her most requested items.

After being involved in a life changing motor vehicle accident in 2023, Katy’s baking had to be put on hold while she worked through rehab. The Chocolate Ball is breathing new life into her love of baking and she is excited to participate for the first time. Her philosophy in life is to “Eat the Cake”, meaning to just live life and do the things you love without regret. Enjoy every last bite.
