Joe Morelle Jr.

Executive Director, UNiCON

Joseph Morelle Jr. is the Executive Director of UNiCON, where he leads efforts focused on economic and workforce development across the Finger Lakes Region. Prior to joining UNiCON in April 2022, Joe served eight years in the Monroe County Legislature representing Irondequoit. He also serves as President of Rochester Careers in Construction, Inc., a nonprofit organization that operates the TRACS program, helping connect individuals to careers in the construction trades. In his leadership roles, Joe works closely with public and private partners to advocate for resources that strengthen the regional economy and grow the community.

Joe is a lifelong Irondequoit resident and currently lives there with his wife Nicole, daughter Harper, sons Gabriel and Lincoln, and their dog Teddy. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the State University of New York at Geneseo.
