Cake Sampling & Live Cake Auction
The Chocolate Ball is quite possibly the most decadent gala around! Local pastry chefs compete in the signature Chocolate Cake Competition, creating elaborate showpieces inspired by the theme of that year’s ball. During the Cocktail Reception, guests are invited to sample each cake and vote for their favorite.
At the end of the evening, guests have the opportunity to bring home one of these exceptional masterpieces during the Live Cake Auction!

Supporting Epilepsy Programs
Proceeds from the Annual Chocolate Ball support EPI and its Epilepsy Programs that serve thousands of children and adults in our region. One of the main programs funded is Camp EAGR, the only week-long overnight camp in New York State for children with epilepsy and their siblings.
