Where are you from?
Have you always been a chef? If not, what else have you done?
I’ve always baked but also worked in accounting and marketing before fulltime baking.
What was your introduction to cooking/baking?
Watching cooking shows as a kid.
Where and how did you train?
I started professionally baking at Wegmans at 19 years old, then trained in a patisserie, moved over to leaning wedding cakes at Savoia’s, then Sam’s Club to further develop my skill set.
Do you like cooking at home or prefer someone else to do it?
After baking all day… someone else can cook!
What is your favorite thing to bake?
A huge overflowing dutch apply pie! Once that starts baking and the butter melts, the smells are amazing!
Is there a chef you admire the most? Who and why?
The legendary and late Sylvia Weinstock, her cakes are exquisite and over the top.
What is your favorite food?
I am a pizza gal!
When it comes to working and creativity, are you an early bird or a night owl?
Definitely an early bird!
