One in 26 Challenge
Did you know that one in 26 people will develop epilepsy? It’s an incredible statistic that illustrates just how common this condition really is. Yet so many people know little to nothing about it and social stigmas continue to exist.
Every October, EPI raises money for and awareness about epilepsy through the One in 26 Challenge. Participants have 26 days to complete 26 miles between October 1st and 26th. Run, walk, bike, swim, roll, the choice is yours!
SAVE THE DATE FOR THE 2024 KICK-OFF EVENTS
We will kick-off the One in 26 Challenge with a group one-mile walk. We hold our kick-off events at two picture-perfect farms, in Rochester and in Syracuse. All participants get a FREE ALL DAY PASS at the farms to enjoy the fall fun activities, from apple picking to hayrides and corn mazes!
These events will occur rain or shine. Mornings can be chilly this time of year, so please plan accordingly. After the one mile walk, make it a full day of fall fun by enjoying all of the activities and sweet treats offered at each farm location.
Free parking is available at both Kick-Off Event locations.
SCHEDULE OF ACTIVITIES FOR BOTH KICK-OFF EVENTS
8:00 am: Check-in and onsite registration.
9:00 am: One mile group walk on farm premises.
10:00 am: Stay and enjoy fall fun!
