Impact Giving

As state and federal government becomes increasingly uncertain, EPI looks to the support of individual, corporate, and foundation philanthropy. Depending upon your capacity, we encourage you to consider a Three Part Giving Strategy through Annual Gifts, Major Gifts, and Planned Gifts. We will work with you to explain key funding needs, but rest assured that at all giving levels, you decide how much you give and what your money supports.

Annual Giving

The best way to make a difference is to make an unrestricted, annual contribution in support of the EPI Fund. This gives the agency flexibility to direct funding to the area of greatest need, providing strength and stability in uncertain times.

The Circle of Empowerment is EPI’s leadership annual giving society that recognizes donors who make a minimum commitment of an unrestricted $1,000 each year for three consecutive years.

In 2027, EPI will host the 41st Annual Chocolate Ball on April 24th and the Seize the Day Run/Walk For Epilepsy on XXXX. EPI has sponsorship opportunities at a variety of levels and we encourage you to consider participating.

Major Giving

In the last five years, EPI has doubled in size, serving more people in more place in New York State. Unfortunately, current funding streams simply do not provide enough money to grow our key programs and services. We have enough to cover the basics, but we have a much larger vision the includes expanded programs, enhanced services, and comprehensive support individuals and families deserve.

A major gift is an annual gift of $5,000 or more, paid over a three year period. It can be unrestricted or can support your specific area of interest.

Planned Giving

What will your legacy be? Through planned giving, many people are able to make a larger, more impactful gift than would otherwise be possible during their lifetime. Like major gifts, a planned gift can support unrestricted or restricted funding, allowing you the chance to make a difference in the area that is most meaningful to you.

A planned gift begins with a simple conversation so we can gain an understanding of what matters to you. Please contact Jill Johnson if you are ready to learn more.
